JoMarie (Krivonak) Boesch, 67, of Girard, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Saturday,
September 3, 2022, with her loving husband at her side. Jo was born in Erie on November 27, 1954, the daughter of the late William and Josephine (Martucci) Krivonak. She was preceded in death by her sister Cheryl Rae Krivonak and sister-in-law Kathleen (Boesch) Dwyer.
JoMarie graduated from Villa Maria Academy and Edinboro University. She was employed with Erie’s Public Schools as a Speech and Hearing Pathologist for thirty-four years, retiring from Grover Cleveland and Harding Elementary Schools.
JoMarie had a strong fighting spirit. She battled and beat breast cancer twice, recovered from five hip replacements and fought to overcome amyloidosis and multiple myeloma to the very end. Her extraordinary talent for decorating, crafting and all things topped with glitter reflected her vivacious personality. Jo’s laughter, elegance and outer beauty complimented her inner heart and welcoming soul.
Survivors include her husband of thirty years Richard F. Boesch, children Austin and Megan Boesch and future grandson of Millcreek, Spencer Boesch of Girard, sister Carol (Krivonak) and Larry Locke of Fairview, nephew Brandon and Josephine Locke of North Pole, Alaska, brother-in-law Joseph and Bea Boesch of Bethesda, Maryland and longtime best friend Barb Hammill of Erie.
Funeral will be private. A Celebration of Life will be forthcoming.
Memorial contributions can be made in JoMarie’s name to amyloidosis.org or myclevelandclinic.org.
